Some folks saying Packers doing AJ Dillon wrong, but really. NO! AJ Dillon is on final year in contract. He goes to Colts, he's the starter and gets the best chance to really cash in as much as he can.

In an unconsummated trade, not a fan of this. I get Taylor's skills, and I get Irsay as a moron, but you might be looking at two morons here.

Did Taylor hurt his back in the off season and because it's not in his interest to expose that, when the team said he did?

Anyone impressed with how he repeatedly called in sick for the last month...or personal issues, whatever..

Anyone thrilled about the fact that he had a minor clean up on his ankle in April or whenever, and is still/now on the PUP?

Those that are on our fantasy league ought to go back and read the timeline on him on Edge (Free included insight, quite valuable for this subject)

If this trade ever came close to fruition, I want the best back physician in the world there for his physical.

Somebody was lying about that.

Packers I guess offered AJ Dillon and 3rd.
Colts reportedly countered with AJ Dillion, Christian Watson and a 1st

As for the calling in sick or what not. It's believed to be agent driven to get him a new deal. Also similar to how a lot of guys have these dings that keep them out of practice. So, it was just a way to avoid practice while driving home he wants a deal.

As for the back issue. Here's what he Tweeted about that. Again, no idea how true any thing is here. Oh, Jason Wilde said for Stephen Holder to say Packers had "legitimate interest" that means the Packers made a reasonable offer, not the "conditional 7th rounder" that we often joke about. Apparently Holder is really well known in Colts circle according to Wilde.

But I could see them just wanting to get the hell away from the druggie and back stabber Irsay, whom attempted to stab QB Payton Manning in the back of all people, despite Peyton always being 100% professional publicly (at least when he's not yelling at Jeff Saturday, or other players or making fun of his brothers). Irsay also was supposedly demanding everyone admit QB Andrew Luck was alright, when clearly everyone else knew he had a shoulder injury.

Irsay has a history of turning on his star players, especially with injuries and that and the RB pay issue seems to have gotten Taylor wanting to escape.

"AJ is apart of this team and he was going to be regardless" at the 20:00 mark

He also mentions that teams will use Packers for leverage.

When you look at the trade counter offer by the Colts, the drug accusations have far more credibility.

I think that RV he likes at the end of the field is stuffed with either crack, fentanyl or cranq.

It's the only semi-logical explanation for what is going on in Indianapolis.

The Packers getting involved is absolutely brilliant. Anyone says otherwise, they do not understand football and the need for weapons on offense.

You are going to say adding one of the top RB's in the league who is just 24 years old is not going to improve the Packers? Is this what you're saying? I would LOVE to hear the rationale behind this because I am not even remotely close to understanding this.

If you're saying the trade compensation required to land Taylor would provide the Packers a net LOSS, I can absolutely get behind that. But if we're talking AJ Dillon and 2024 3rd round pick. You do that all day.

Or maybe you're saying Taylor is a nutcase diva who regardless of the talent isn't worth being on the team. I can also get behind that too.

beast (3h) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (3h) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (13h) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (13h) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (15h) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (16h) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job

Zero2Cool (17h) : Thank you
wpr (17h) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (17h) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (17h) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (17h) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (17h) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (18h) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (18h) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (18h) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (18h) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (19h) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
