I've been behind Love taking over under the "gotta give him a chance" clause and excited at his potential. But now I'm starting to get little bit worried. EVERYONE in the media is now lining up behind him ie the popular thing that's overhyped and crashes hard. I hope that's not the case lol.
Also, Young points out something pretty interesting: how fans memories get completely skewed. From a pure "on paper" standpoint, Green Bay missed selling high on Rodgers before last year. On the other hand, if Rodgers gets traded last year, lights it up and Love stumbled out of the gate/Packers floundered, it would have ignited a firestorm and potentially sent the franchise into a tailspin. But after last season, many saw that Rodgers refusing to throw over the middle in an offense designed around it, refused to throw to certain receivers, bad body language etc. At that point, it's not hard to say, "Well, why not Love if he wants it?"
“Nah. I like having the island. It’s pretty cool...not too many visitors”
"I’ve got it." -Aaron Rodgers
