He's not "that good", he's showing a lot of improvement and looks like he could be hanging between top 10-15 his entire career, which may sound insufficient to us but for a lot of teams would be worth dying for.

Nah. In the past 10 years, it's been proven that you can win the SB with an elite D and an average to good QB. Trent Dilfer, Eli Manning, Ben Roethlisburger, Brad Johnson. That's 5 SBs since 2000 that weren't won with an elite QB. "Average to good" is good enough to win it all when you got the #1 D.

I'm not sure if Vince Young is up to the level of any of those guys except Dilfer, and he's not the game manager type. He still looks miscast to me as a pro QB.
