Andy Reid made his case to Peter King for Patrick Mahomes as MVP. In this week's FMIA, under the heading MVP watch, King shares that conversation. It is not about signals, but rather about what Mahomes did with his new wide receivers this year. That subject has been debated ad nauseum as regards what Rodgers did or did not do this off season in Green Bay, and no way would it be fair to sit here and decide that Aaron should have been teaching his signals to the rookies in the off season, especially in light of their super-secret-squirrel status, but it did give me the suspicion that Mahomes would in fact share his super secret squirrel signals with the new guys. Super speculating, seeing how many s words I can squeeze in a sentence.

Aaron Rodgers said 95% of the article is nothing and the rest is exaggerated. Rodgers really blasted the story pretty hard. Came off pretty defensive if you ask me.

Edit, the author of the story liked my Tweet. I don't care for Tweeter, but I think I am important now.

Probably everyone else was lying.

The blowing up of it being a major deal is what Rodgers got heated about. Which is a bit odd if it's nothing and exaggerated.

I think there is truth to it. I also think like I said before that maybe Packers are bringing guys on who aren't mentally tough. Elite QBs are gonna likely be more demanding. If you can't handle that, you won't hack it.

What’s interesting is the fact that Jordan Love is the one leading these meetings. It’s probably not abnormal for things like this to happen on basically every team, the media just loves to try and bury Rodgers for being a “selfish asshole” because it gets them clicks.

How many different signals do y’all think Peyton Manning had? Guarantee it was harder to get on the same page with him than it is with Rodgers.

And Aaron said he "lets" Jordan run those meetings, which is just like admitting they do occur.

I got a pretty interesting  idea. Some reporter asks Jaire Alexander, Rasul Douglas and maybe Amos if THEY know Aaron Rodgers' signals. 🤔

Martha Careful (1h) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (2h) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (3h) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (3h) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (3h) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (3h) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (3h) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (3h) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (3h) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (3h) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
