This whole thread seems to be missing what bothered me about that draft. I would have used one of our 1st round picks on Christian Watson, probably our 1st pick. We don't know how the draft would have played out under my scenario, but there was plenty of quality in the 2nd round had we not given up our 2nd 2nd. That being said, I am more than thrilled with all 3 of our wide receivers selected in the draft. Also, don't forget Watson doesn't afford the Packers that 5th year option as a 2nd round vs 1st round pick. We'll, what about Quay Walker, we would have lost him. Many will say. I say he would have still been there, and if not, so what. We would have got a quality player there anyway.

Maybe taking Watson in round one triggered another run on WR that bled into day two?

As for this thread missing what bothered you. Newsflash. It wasn't started for you. Breaking news, world don't revolve around you.

Quay at his spot assumes that no one else was thinking Watson subsequent to that 1st pick. We know that after the fact, but I was trying to incorporate the thinking at the time. As to my comment regarding the thread, it did not address what bothered me. Believe it or not, newsflash, the fact that it didn't address those issues  doesn't equate to any of your perceptions of my post or me. I don't want to get into it with you, so go eat a snickers bar or some-shit, and maybe work on your etiquette, as the site owner. That  being said, what Wayne said is some seriously legitimate perspective worthy of discussion. I watched the opposing teams defenses clamp down on us when we did not bring a deep threat, and we had no answer, dating back to when MVS went down. Thanks to Watson, and Doubs when healthy, and even Toure if we can get them all on the field at the same time healthy...We present a pretty damn good wide receiver corps that threatens defenses far better than what we have had. Injuries there have murdered this season, imo. Damn.
