Or you know, trafe a 1st round pick, DT Lowry and maybe a few other odds and ends and get the Panthers starting RT, RG, 2nd DT and backup veteran SS and win the Super Bowl.

It's not as good as solving world hunger, but I might be pretty happy with it... (assuming winning the Super Bowl part).

Jon Runyan made clear he wants to stay LG: “For sure. Definitely I’m more comfortable over there. The majority of my football career, I’ve been on the left side. So it definitely feels more natural for me. The left side feels like home.”

I'm done with Bakhtiari. He was amazing, but his body just isn't holding up. It's sad. I hate it. It's just time to move on -- maybe?

My new OL.

That being said... with Jenkins and Runyan playing OG, there is no where for our 3rd round pick OG Rhyan to go... which is why I questioned selecting a guy with an OG build to start with so high in the draft.

Though still, Tom was one of my favorite long term OL prospects and we still got him.

But what about your stance of Jenkins being an All pro at LG and it's stupid to move him? Now we're moving him?

And everyone but Myers and Runyan flop sides?

Predraft I compared Tom to Bakhtiari in muliple ways... they look like Centers, but have elite pass blocking potential and if they're physical to make it, should be able to play LT.

So I liked last week's lineup and here is my 8 man GameDay depth chat

LT: Bakhtiari / Tom / Jenkins
LG: Jenkins / Tom / Runayn
OC: Myers / Tom / Jenkins
RG: Runyan / Newman / Tom
RT Nijman / Newman / Walker

If you don't understand the issues with moving a LG coming off ACL to RT, then I can't really answer this in anyway that will make sense to you. You're deliberately skipping my entire point and focusing on one aspect to make an argument. I have explained numerous times the challenges being great from G <-> T vs L <-> R.

Of course, I don't hear/read everything, but Jenkins wanting to stay at RT for financial purposes is definitely new to me. And if it's true, cut his ass. You play high quality at LG and then say you want to keep playing shitty at RT in hopes of money.

This is my #1 OL preference. #2 lineup is what we had vs Commanders. #3 is whatever crap I posted earlier on a whim.

"On David Bakhtiari, who practiced yesterday after missing last Sunday’s game: ‘That situation’s going to be fluid the rest of the year.'"

We could be on the hook for that whole contract. No trading him now.

I think the Nijman experiment is over. He got destroyed when it mattered most.

Tom is not ready for prime time, although I don't know who else is.

Even with Jenkins healthy, we are at least one man short. The cupboard would seem to be relatively bare there, as well as WR.
