The Packers have two fifth-year option decisions to make this offseason. It's going to be a busy offseason for the Green Bay Packers, who must decide whether to go all-in or rebuild. Whether to trade Aaron Rodgers or try to convince him to stay. Whether to re-sign Davante Adams and De'Vondre Campbell or attempt to

Savage, no thank you. I may want to keep on the team but he will need to sign a new contract at a lesser annual amount.

There is no decision to make, put it in auto pilot and pick up the 5th year options (you can always trade it later), and if you want to, start working on a long term deal, then do it.

Right now Amos is #9 at $9 mil.

I went to check Amos PFF position compared to other safeties. They grades are blocked out but it appears as if he is #72. Coming into the season they said he was #18 so he really laid an egg this year.

If we get 2020 back $8 mil is not bad. If we get 2021 or 2019 I am not so sure.

So we might be able to lock him up for $7 or 8 million per year for four years now, or someone can give $9 or $10 million in 2023.

Either way, I still think (I don't know, just think), Savages best spot might be the nickel CB spot, and let him just man coverage the slot guy. I don't think deep Safety is maximizing Savages value.... but the Safety depth behind the starters seriously sucks so they couldn't put him at nickel.
