Tomorrow Sanders will retire. I will be due to the fact that MM have told them to retire or be fired.

Even if they turn out to be true, no one on this site cares who got the "scoop."

This has been reported on PFT now as well. Now i wouldn't exactly call PFT the most reliable source, they tend to get it right a lot more than they get it wrong.

Not really any more info on it than was already posted, however.

Sanders retiring is just outrageous. LOL, after 3 years of being a DC, he calls it quits for his career?

Uhh... no.

That's funny though.

What's the point of spreading these unsubstantiated rumors if there's no corroborating evidence? If they turn out to be wrong, you look silly, or like an attention whore, or even a troll. Even if they turn out to be true, no one on this site cares who got the "scoop."

I'm aware of the dangers, it's a calculated risk which I am willing to take.
I generally won't post rumors until I can verify. But that's how this came about, dude wanted help in verifying what he was told. Like I said, a stable poster for years & I believe his source told him this. Since the source has been reliable in the past, he has no reason to not believe him on this.

Sure this could make me look gullible, but if it shakes out I will be glad I shared it here. Would you really believe me when I claim I heard about it a week before the story broke? I know it's gambling with my credibility, but I'm willing to take that risk in this case. It's one way of helping repay some of the good times I've had since finding this place. I realize my reputation is on the line so you can believe I'm praying for this like a game-winning field goal.

P.S. My guy has since contacted his source, and as of today still swears by the story.

dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
