The Green Bay Packers feel like a franchise moving in a different direction.  Despite a 13-3 season that ended in the NFC Championship game the Packers have continued to move forward with their plan to rebuild the organization’s infrastructure.  This year’s draft came with a lot off scrutiny but, in my opinion, it supports the idea that the team had a very structured rebuild plan that started when the McCarthy era ended.  Phase 1 was addressing premier positions of need, by signing young free agents that were approaching their prime years and could continue to grow and flourish in the years to come.  The Packers also supplemented their moves in free agency by completing the back end of their secondary (Darnell Savage) and adding to their front seven (Rashan Gary).
This season, the Packers continued this same plan by adding potential future starters to their offensive line, quarterback, and running back positions.  The infrastructure of the Packer organization looks solid for the foreseeable future, but the question remains, when will time run out on the old guard?
It is safe to assume that the Packers are going to run it back one more year with the majority of their cornerstone players intact.  The team will continue to adopt their run first mentality, dominate time of possession, and lean on one of the most clutch defensive units (of 2019) to make plays in crunch time and hope there is one more playoff run left.
2021 however, will be interesting…as many big names will be up for new contracts…and in a league dominated by the salary cap, it is simply unrealistic to expect to re-sign everyone.
The next question becomes, who among the pending free agents and players due for a contract extension is a safe bet to be a member of the Packers in 2021? Surprisingly, only two names jump out to me (and it is not the two names you are probably thinking):
 David Bakhtiari
 Kenny Clark
(2b. Aaron Rodgers)
Now before everyone loses their collective minds, Aaron Rodgers is pretty much (2b) on this list to be a Packer in 2021 but there could be a small window for him to be traded under the right circumstances just prior to the start of the 2021 season.  Just remember, Jordan Love is under an incredibly team friendly contract for the next four years and it behooves the Packers to move on from Rodgers in the next 2 years so they could essentially have at least 3 years (including the option) of team control. I am just saying that it is not impossible that the Packers in the next year and a half to two years, decide to pay off the cap penalty associated with trading Rodgers and move towards the era of Love.
Another player that could still be a Packer in 2021 could be Kevin King:
Just think about it, if Kevin King has another solid season and stays healthy; it would probably be easier to come to an agreement with him coming off of another solid year than with Aaron Jones who with a year identical to 2019, could demand $10-12 million per season.
No matter who stays or who goes, the Packers 2021 roster could and probably will look dramatically different.
Here is a short list of players who could be potentially playing their final seasons in Green Bay:
Aaron Jones
 Kevin King
Corey Linsley

Long story short, the following guys are are going to be FAs, and we probably can't avoid to pay to keep them all.
OT David Bakhtiari
DT Kenny Clark
RB Aaron Jones
CB Kevin King
OC Corey Linsley

It'll be interesting to see whom we resign and whom we let go.

As the article mentions, Bak and Clark are thought to be clear resign guys, are they can be elite and after them, it's huge question marks at what we have at their positions. Everyone loves Aaron Jones, but we just did draft a 2nd round RB and it's risky to give a RB big money, though I think Jones in this system would hold up well, as it limits his pass blocking, which is where he seemed to get banged up the most. King had an inconsistent season, but he certainly had his great moments. While Linsley might not be elite, he has been Mr. Consistent.

One thing Ted Thompson seemed to do, especially with his 2nd selection, was draft a needed position, though sometimes that need was for NEXT year, as an important player was about to go into a contract year (like this case), and this provided the rookie a year to grow and gave the GM more options to either keep the important player or let them go if the cost is too much. I wonder if that's partly what Gute did here.... well, that, and Dillion has the combine numbers to match RB Derrick Henry and clearly faced the most 8 man boxes in college football last year. (Jonathan Taylor was a distance 2nd)

bboystyle (2h) : The Green Bay Packers on Monday signed Taylor Elgersma, the Canadian-born quarterback who tried out at the team’s rookie camp last weekend
beast (3h) : There were reports four days ago that the Packers were signing QB Taylor Elgersma, but no official action since
Zero2Cool (5h) : And for Ian Rapoport to announce Saints send 1st and 2nd rounder to Packers for Malik Willis.
dfosterf (5h) : *Elgersma*
dfosterf (5h) : Today would be a good day to discover the Pack signed Taylor Engersma, the Canadian QB
Zero2Cool (11-May) : It wasn't. He simply wanted his money back. They refused. Cops came. They gave him his money in end.
dfosterf (11-May) : Fortunately it doesn't sound like a big deal

Martha Careful (8-May) : Chicago produces a pope before it produces a 4000 yard passing quarterback
wpr (8-May) : HAHAHA Mucky Comment of the day.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : According to reports, Mel Kiper is furious that Sanders wasn't selected as the new Pope
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Time taken to get picked:
Zero2Cool (8-May) : New Pope: 2 days | Shedeur Sanders: 3 days
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Collin Whitchurch @cowhitchurch · 1h Chicago got a pope before it got a QB to throw for 4,000 yards in a season.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : New Pope from Chicago; in other words, the city produced a Pope before a 4000 yard passer

Zero2Cool (7-May) : beast, you're just one R from being voluptuous.

Zero2Cool (7-May) : You saw me Tweet???
beast (7-May) : Supposedly Steelers will be trading WR George Pickens to the Cowboys for a 3rd and late round pick swap
Zero2Cool (5-May) : Ravens release Justin Tucker, err D. Watson Jr?
Zero2Cool (5-May) : Cardinals have signed TE Josiah Deguara.
Zero2Cool (5-May) : If I were to "Google" it, then I wouldn't read it in your words.
Martha Careful (5-May) : Yes, in the military S2’s work on IPB, PERCEC, PHYSEC and IO
dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
beast (4-May) : NFL really needs to fix their position labeling issue, but I don't think they care
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Packers did not activate the fifth-year options for linebacker Quay Walker, with the goal of signing him to a contract extension.
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Matthew Golden spoke with Randall Cobb before draft. Looked like chance encounter.
packerfanoutwest (1-May) : from a head left turn?
packerfanoutwest (1-May) : someone drunk?
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Unlikely.
dfosterf (30-Apr) : How long until Jeff Sperbeck's family sues John Elway ?
Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : Packers are exercising the fifth-year option on DT Devonte Wyatt, locking in a guaranteed $12.9M for the 2026 season.
beast (30-Apr) : Sounds like P Luke Elzinga has a rookie try out opportunity from the Titans
