Green Bay Packers fans who missed out on buying stock during the sale in 2011, or the one before that in 1997, could get another chance.
NFL owners during their fall meeting on Wednesday approved what would be the sixth stock sale by the Packers. Other regulatory approvals remain, including review by regulatory agencies in the states where the stock will be sold.
The Packers said they would use the money for improvements at Lambeau Field. Projects at the stadium, including completed and planned concourse upgrades, and new video scoreboards, total about $250 million.
