I don't know much about him but he was thought to have good value as a 6th round pick- once he recovered.

I liked Runyan (well, at least with him falling that far), but I wasn't as much fans of the other two. Hanson looked like he has no power and not much upside. While Stepaniak looks very limited in his movement skills, even for a college OG. I just didn't see the potential upsides to their game...
That being said, the guys I liked and preferred didn't make.their teams either... so not sure it made much difference.
But the Packers 7th rounders of that year have good upside potential, not sure they'll develop it or not. But my point being, I think Gute was trying to fill the OL quota to a degree, and drafted the best OL he could find at that time.
And now Runyan and Braden seems like the backups that could be competing for starting OG spots.
But it's sad more and more people are having mental issues, but good that they're realizing them and trying to take care of them.
