I remarked during the game that his mechanics are really odd -- he's throwing with his entire upper body to get power on some of those throws. It wouldn't surprise me at all to learn that his shoulder still hurts.

I continue to cut Aaron some slack, but today's failure to mount a comeback drive was his worst one yet. There was something kind of--dare I say--Neil O'Donnelish about it.

Unfortunately, i agree. We'll see next year. Will be year number 5 in this offense for him. Time to be a winner. I get that creepy vibe from him like he's a stat compiler like some other guys who never won games. Marc Bulger, Brunell, Jeff George, jim everett, and Brian Griese. I dont know, he just doesnt inspire me

Maybe if Rodgers had guys who can protect him, he can make better throws.

Wow, I gotta go with the popular sentiment and give you a lot of respect, Cal2GreenBay. Brett Favre is my favourite football player, but the Green Bay Packers are my favourite team. When they were basically eliminated last week I became a Jets fan first for the rest of this season. But obviously I still watch my Packers. And I'm still a big Aaron Rodgers fan. But I gotta say, when I watch them, I wonder why he isn't leading 4th quarter comebacks like the kid in Atlanta. For you of all people to say it too? That shows some big time objectivity. Good for you.

You won't get much disagreement from me on this one.

While it's hardly all Aarons fault for the Packers woes this year, he's going to eventually have to take this team on his back and show he can win a tight game.

I still have faith in the guy that he can play at a high level. His stats are clearly an indication of that. He just needs to put it all together now and show that he can win games in the final minutes.

I think even a perfunctory glance at the statistics will show he HAS lead fourth-quarter comebacks. The fact is he has but his defense keeps blowing them. What you're really asking is why hasn't he lead comebacks in the last couple of minutes, which I don't think is fair. How many of Matt Ryan's comebacks have been within the past two minutes? Anyone have the statistics?

Cal2GB... +1 .. I echo your thoughts.

By the way.. WOW.. you are a man of character calling out Rodgers as he should and in the same manner you addressed the previous QB here.

I thought the d-line line played poor yesterday, and A-rod he is good and think he will be better next year,he needs to focus more and find players who aren't covered. He tries to do to much at one time hence interception, but it goes back to d-line Hawk gets a sack 3rd and 18 just to give up a t.d they stop the run all day then when you really need to step up,you fall very unhappy with d-line.And o-line had A-rod running for his life half the time just hope they can win these last two.

Ya!

Brett had another great 4th Quarter Come Back Yesterday. Aaron needs one of these.

Brett had 4 possessions in the Fourth Quarter yesterday. He completed one pass, no touchdowns, and did not get a single first down. But that does not matter. He won.

In the Fourth Quarter the Jet's Defence got three INT's and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

Aaron needs one of those great comebacks like Brett's yesterday.

Until Aaron can do what Brett did yesterday in the Fourth Quarter Aaron is a loser.
