When Gantt interpreted the tea leaves last week to suggest that Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers believes the team has thrown a little fermunda cheese in his coffee, some thought we were gratuitously exaggerating the situation. It's becoming clear that we weren't. Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reports that Rodgers has grown "frustrated' and "emotional' with [more]

The Grudge Holder now wants to run the GM and the offense. Blow it up, Trade Aaron, fire Mike, start over. Why wait another year?

All due respect to Rodgers, that’s not the way it works anywhere. Tom Brady doesn’t have a voice in personnel matters in New England. Peyton Manning didn’t have a say in personnel matters in Denver or in Indianapolis. Did Drew Brees get a vote when the Saints traded Jimmy Graham and Brandin Cooks? Most likely, no.

Dude is pulling a Bert Favor, plain and simple. 👎 #cancer

If Rodgers doesn’t like any of this, he has an option. He can retire.

And then maybe he can suddenly unretire after the team has a replacement ready to go, forcing a trade to the Jets before getting cut there after a season and signing with the Vikings. Hypothetically, of course.

I'm really getting sick of the off-season. We want players to speak, and then during the off-season when they give an interview, some asshole pontificates to get attention and other lazy "writers" start with their "unnamed sources" to it. Who loses here? The fans who don't have time to catch the interview and put it together.

Of course Aaron doesn't like seeing his position coach leave. NO SHIT. It wasn't the first time.
Of course Aaron doesn't like seeing his buddy Jordy leave. NO SHIT. It wasn't the first time.
Of course Aaron knows this is how the business works. NO SHIT!

The only gripe Aaron can reasonably have is being told after the fact, instead of given a heads up and I say only gripe in the most generous manner because he's a damn player, not a coach, not a general manager. And you know what, he KNOWS THIS! Oh, that part is forgotten.

My favorite bits from all of this:

1. Athletes are human. Let them be.
2. Trust the process
3. Aaron is as sentimental as the average Packer fan. Seems like a good fit for our organization moving forward!

Rodgers is not a generational physical talent. His laser accuracy and other critical quality traits singularly emanate from his unprecedented ability to mentally process and the game and his unerring mental discipline executing his mechanics…his mind is the ONLY reason he attained MVP/GOAT-like levels.

He’s Mark Sanchez to Jay Cutler when his mind is effed-up. His childishly turning his back on his G-pa’s close relationship and not going to funeral; his kiddy not talking to his parents and childish returning their Christmas gifts; his publically throwing Janis, Adams, etc. under the bus; and his self-aggrandizing sociopathic narcissistic demands that all his mates earn his trust; all came at a time when his play was at its nadir.

If his mind is effed-up; it must be fixed quick or GB simply won’t win…this is a very simple and historically proven incontrovertible concept. If he’s blown another mental gasket, ENOUGH, Nerd's right, it’s simply time to move on. Trade him for what you can and assign #12 to some UDFA long snapper.

Regurgitating all the things he said in past is meaningless, because an effed-up Rodgers is a snarky passive aggressive game-playing treacherous little kiddy bitch. If Rodgers isn’t effed-up, within a few days, he’ll renounce this rank idiocy. I’m guessing right after he “me-toos” that the little car-wrecking loud-mouthed Danica out the door for saying this to a reporter tryin' to make a name for himself 😂 😂.

Yeah....let's crucify a guy, even though NONE of us know all of what has happened in his life.
Like there aren't things in EVERY NFL player's life that can be picked on and picked apart.
Let's just judge him on what we THINK we know about his personal life, facts be damned!

How would you, (or anyone) like someone that doesn't really KNOW you, judge what you have said or done in your life?
Are there things in ALL of our lives that we have had reasons to do things that others might not understand???

Rodgers is still one of the best at his position. And people making up crap to try to stir up things that don't even exist....geez. So called "professional" sports people. Just trying to find (or make up) SOMETHING to write or talk about.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
Zero2Cool (23-Jun) : PFT claims Packers are having extension talks with Zach Tom, Quay Walker.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
