Not that there was a ton of doubt that much of the media and "former teammates" opinion of Rodgers might not be what it seems, this article gives one more of a peak into the QB rooms over the years.

I really admire Aaron Rodgers the person. Something I've mentioned numerous times that struck me early on was he said if people only remember him as a football player, then he failed. And he wants people to remember him for being a good person. I'm paraphrasing, but bottom line, he said it means more to him to be remembered as a good person, than good football player. I respect that.

It's frustrating listening to people attack his character because I truly believe he's one of the good guys. Like Favre, I have been nearly obsessive with my following of him. Reading every quote. Listening to every press conference and interview. I think the amount of good person he is will be up there with the likes of Bart Starr.

Rodgers will be regarded as a player alongside of Starr and Favre. The difference is that each is/was independent personalities that succeeded in their own unique way. Apples, Oranges, and Pears are all great fruits, but they are obviously very different.

Reporters/media just love a story to tell and if none are available they will try to create one. Let's not be so quick to believe everything we are told. GB has been careful, IMO, not to hire controversial people and not aid false stories that got their start from tiny morsel of truth. Such things distract a team from their ultimate goal/s.
