I'd be very happy with any of the following:
-Mike Iupati, G, Idaho
-Brandon Graham, OLB, Michigan
-Sergio Kindle, OLB/DE, Texas
-Jerry Hughes ... ah hell, you know him by now
-Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State
-Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers
-Rodger Saffold/Charles Brown
-Ryan Mathews, RB, Fresno State
I think it's entirely possible that a number of those guys are gone by pick 23. I understand that tackle is considered a greater need than guard, but I'm a big fan of Iupati. Of any players up there Kyle Wilson is my preferred pick, but I don't think he'll be there. Graham likely won't be available, either. McCourty might be a slight reach, but would be a nice pick if the Pack traded back a few spots. I'd be very pleased with either Kindle or Hughes. Improving the pass rush is, in my opinion, the key to our defense clicking.
Everyone and their sister has had the Pack taking a tackle. I'd understand it and welcome it, but I'm just not all that turned on by taking the 6th or 7th best player at a position -- regardless of positional value and perceived need.
Oh, and I think Ryan Mathews is going to be a bonafide NFL running back. My instincts tell me Green Bay isn't likely to make the pick (and like others above, Matthews could well be gone at 23). Nevertheless, I'd love to see him in green and gold. I don't dislike Brandon Jackson -- but lets be real, he's had 157 carries in three seasons. Grant carries a disproportionate amount of the workload in our run game and Mathews is gonna be a star.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.
