Agreed. I like Jones. He was probably the MVP of the team last year. Still, RBs don't typically last in the NFL. The odds of him playing at peak level in the last year or 2 of his next contract are slim.

Another factor is this offense was perfect for him, no pass blocking (where he mostly has been injured at), almost exclusively wide zone plays (Where LaFleur has said he wants more man blocking plays)...
And when you look at this scheme on other teams, it's almost always been a power RB starter (like the RB we just drafted), and a quickness or speed guy back-up.
Though I do think Jones production could get better, simply by Rodgers learning the proper process to throwing the wheel route on target... which I thought was suppose to be one of the easiest things for a QB, but Rodgers is still knocking off rust after not having to do it much it any under MM... and might be Rodgers worst route to throw (better success on hail marys)
