Or if the Packers did offer 8 million a year it might of been just a one or two year add on deal and not long term and that's where they're disagreeing.
But if the Packers can resign Pickett and Jolly for half the price of Raji that might be a better way to go (with contracts that would be easy to get out of if they fall off a cliff), and draft a new/young NT or two over the next two years to replace Pickett and Jolly long term.
Also I don't think Capers is into it, but I think the Packers might be able to run Wade Phillips scheme pretty well. When Phillips was with the Cowboys he asked his 3-4 DE to clog the running lanes and be basically NTs (Pickett and Jolly fit those roles fine), while asking the NT to pass rush (basically be an attacking rush DT in the middle) which I think Daniels and Jones could be good there rotating.
