He's not gonna get to the Packers 2nd round pick... unless he has major I jury concerns where he might be off our board completely. 1st or pass. If anything, I'll do a cheap one or two year deal with Marcus Mariota, if LaFleur liked him, when they worked together.

I do think he'd be worth a shot though. His struggles in Tennesee were due to injuries to like everybody (not like what Green Bay has seen in previous years), and sitting behind someone like Aaron in an offense he was getting good with could be nice.

But some team will overpay him.

I wouldn't hold my breath on Mariota. LaFleur "liked" DeShone Kizer too.

He got to work with Mariota and if he feels he's worth a day two draft pick, I am going to trust the coach that has led our team to same amount of wins this season than we have had the last two combined.

But, I'd still use my 3rd round pick on Tagovailoa if he somehow falls.

If one has a chance to draft a franchise QB with our pick in the first round, with our pick in our situation (a very good, but declining 36 year old QB) I would 100% take it. Of course, this is assuming you are totally confident in his health and talent.
