Ryan Grant should be the starter. He is still a premier back in this league. Brandon Jackson should get 10 or so but Ryan should still get around 25.

I would hate it if we lost Grant...He's a great back.

How quickly we turn on players when the team is losing. People praise Rodgers because he plays behind a "terrible" line but yet its all Grants fault he can't run the ball. Oh well and for you people claiming he is collecting the big bucks, Do you actually remember that his contract is how he wanted it alot of incentive based pay hmmmmmm maybe MM got a call from Ted Thompson and said pull him hes getting to close to the next incentive we need to save the money. I didn't like him getting paid because of one year but i give him credit for wanting a new contract as incentive based. Unlike some other players on this team that plays 7 games and gets a huge guaranteed contract. I believe their should be no guaranteed contracts and all contracts should be incentive based.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

jackson shows more heart, more talent, more explosive runs, and overall he is just the better back, jackson should get 70% of carries, grant should get the short yardage situations
brandon jackson is amazing

I agree D. Its disgusting to me how so many forget what he was last year. Yes it was just last year, but Ryan is still capable of doing those things again. But he wont when we're passing 45+ times a game.

How many years is Grant under contract?

Like TengoJuego said, just remember last year....It pisses me off that some of you would rather have BJax. I bet you would regret saying this if you actually get him starting and then we lose Grant after this year. Then what would you say?

I think we all realize that Grant is very talented, but he does not seem to be terribly inspired at the moment. Keep in mind when you reference how the line affects what Grant is doing, that Jackson is running, with greater success, behind the same line.

If Grant is hurt, or is just not effective, then Jackson should start until such a time that Grant gets his mojo back.

I don't think that qualifies as turnig on a player.

I don't see how you want a 1st year player released, after getting a 3.6 average. I know RBs tend to just run it good right away, but as with all rookies, some need some time to develop. Going from a 3.6 avg to a 5.5 one seems like making progress to me, even if you're not always running the ball.

Grant is in his first complete year as a starter aswell. They're acually able to gameplan against him now, wich they weren't able to do last year. He s in his third year as a pro though, but I give him the benefit of the doubt. He will have to step it up next year though, because there's no point of waiting even longer if he can't get it done by then.

I think not having Grant on that last drive at the goal line was a killer.
