Hundley’s problem was that he played the way Mike taught him to play, scared. He was unable and unwilling to anticipate when the WR was gonna break open, make a move or separate. All his throws were late and behind.

I think it was pounded into his head, from everyone (fans, teammates, coaches, media) that the season was riding on him so when he'd see a guy open, instead of immediately pulling the trigger, he'd hitch and re-cock and stare and then throw ... and guess what? The defense closes in and smacks the WR or picks it off.
That's something that bothered me a lot. Game after game, I didn't see progress on decision making. Just sling that shit. Trust your instincts! You'll get better. Shit, Peyton Manning threw more INT's in his rookie season than any other rookie ever! You gotta fall down to learn to pick yourself up.
