Why would the Aaron Rodgers' led Green Bay Packers draft Brett Hundley, a QB, in the 5th round of the 2015 NFL draft?  That's the question that many of us were asking ourselves back in May.  And it wasn't just because the team has arguably the greatest player in the NFL, MVP Aaron Rodgers, manning

I agree, early reviews are favorable. I'd love to see him get more action.

Because he was a bargain - no more/no less.

What is the question now? Really none - assuming you are open to keeping 3 QBs. He ain't gonna beat out Tolzien, and he's done too well to be cut or risked on the Practice Squad.

Minor question: can we get any use from him now? Wild cat/a few special plays at WR or TE/maybe something on Special Teams? Realistically, probably none, much as I'd like to see it.

The Question will come when Hundley's rookie contract is due to run out.

He may be active all 16 games if they decide to cut Scott. What would be better for his development? If the staff feels he's got the same kind of chance of winning a game should Aaron go down, the decision is simple. Cut Scott and go with Hot Rod.

If staff feels his best development is as a 3rd string inactive... Scott stays. That should be the two pronged decision...what is first best for org as far as winning games and second what is the best course of training for Hot Rod.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

If he makes the 53 and doesn't beat out Tolzien for the #2 spot he will be inactive for every game. Mike McCarthy is not going to activate the third QB just in case they want to run some special play.
