Did Whaley actually interview? I've seen plenty of stories stating that the Packers were interested in interviewing him, but none indicating that any meeting in fact happened. Now he did interview with the Browns last month but didn't get the job obviously.

Murphy said Korn Ferry, and as I pointed out days ago, Korn Ferry said Brian Gutekunst

The Packers (like a number of teams) hired Korn Ferry Consulting firm (Jed Hughes seems to lead their NFL division) to help search for the new GM. Unfortunately we're not getting any rumors for them.

BUT the Texans also hired them for a GM search and rumors seem like they could be coming from that direction.

So these names also might be on the Packers search; Nick Caserio & Monti Ossenfort (#Patriots), Brian Gaine (#Bills), and Brian Gutekunst (#Packers).
