And I will bring up the elephant that I believe most FAs don't want to come to Green Bay unless we overpay and Ted was never the GM that wanted to do that.

Green Bay will likely always have to rely on D&D with patchwork FA and I'm fine with that. They attempted that this year with House, Bennett, Evans, Brooks, etc.

He had good success with UDFA, and I agree it's not worth going after the day 1 crowd in FA, especially in Green Bay. We enjoyed a lot of success thanks to Ted.

HaHa was put in a tough position this year and didn't take it well. That being said, in public, he is not showing leadership qualities. When you couple that with that ludicrous display of no effort this past week, that creates a pretty big concern moving forward. If Brice could stay healthy, then I'd think about going that direction and letting HaHa walk, while drafting another safety this year.

He's clearly upset about letting guys like Hyde and Peppers go and replacing them with rookies. Also sounds like maybe some of the FAs brought in were "collecting checks" and not really invested (weird comment though considering his own effort appeared lacking). It also sounds like Dom lost quite a few players in the locker room but Haha is right even if you don't like the defense or the calls your job is to run them anyways. It's similar to what he said to Shields so it may have been a problem for a little while. If this has been an ongoing thing then McCarthy should have been all over it he's the Head Coach not just the offensive coordinator.

I never liked Ha Ha...and I questioned draft and develop year after year. Always fun to see the viewpoints that change after years of evidence.

Any GM who didn't use EVERY available avenue to improve his team is a GM not doing his job and should be replaced. We had a lot of folks who defended draft and develop tooth and nail. It fails. It failed here. It was must much less noticeable with 12 covering up the errant misguided philosophy. I said years ago this org was wasting one of the singular most special players the NFL has ever witnessed. That is exactly what the Packers org has done. I don't know why it would be hard to admit that now? It's just the truth.

Hey...I love the dollar store...great place to go pick up a few items for less, but I would never make that my main source of acquiring goods. We had a guy in place shopping way too often at the dollar store, but the big ticket item in 12 made that "okay" to a lot of people because we made the playoffs. Think now on how many SB chances we blew by not having a man in place who was using every avenue. It's upsetting and sad but you should consider it and come to a new understanding of what we need now.

I applaud Ha Ha for speaking his mind. I only wish he was a more credible player so what he had to say carried weight.

So, we had the wrong GM, with the wrong philosophy, the wrong DC, and we lived with all this happy no less for years? I'm so happy the light switch is being looked for.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Draft and develope is fine, as long as you have proven starters (vets) in place. If you have to develope them EVERY year, you won't win.
Too many young guys as starters leaves you open to get beat.
