I'm half (sorta) watching South Florida (USF)vs Texas Tech,
Two USF players stood out as interesting (though I'm talking later in the draft).
rSR. DT Deadrin Senat, who reminds me of a heavier, stronger version of DT Christian Ringo, with Ringo like quickness (though doesn't quite use the quickness as well as Ringo), and almost no DT chases plays from behind like Ringo sometimes did.
rJr. WR/tweener Tyre McCants, is a 5'11" tall, 235lb slot WR, who people think could also play RB. His body looks like young Eddie Lacy, they like to use him on quick passes like Stanford did with Ty Montgomery and his routes are slow but seem crisp like James Jones... and while he seems to lack some speed (for a true WR), he's got a very nice physical part to his game, and coaches believe he can play RB and I think he plays like a RB once he gets the ball in his hands. He seems like a WR/TE/RB tweener. He doesn't go down easy and a very willing zone blocker... I haven't seen him ask to drive block, so I don't know how he is in that aspect. Though his numbers look like TE numbers... but he's been on a pretty good offense with them spreading the ball around.
