Fill in the blank with anything and everything you like.

Here's my take:

...when they stop believing they're good, and realize they aren't good enough.

That is the difference between winning it all and winning a bunch of games. This org is so caught up in 8 trips to the playoffs and we win a lot of games, divisions, etc...when the focus finally gets around to being on what they haven't accomplished more than what they have, they will then win their next SB. Focus on where we need to get to, not where we've been, or we'll always be right where we are...good, but not good enough.

The natural outflow of the above mindset will be more use of FA to find better players rather than liking the guys we've got and giving them year after year to be mediocre. Some of that has been changing...

Inside the Mind of the Packers by UFFDa

A work of Fiction.

In order to have a chance at a SB, they have to make the playoffs, so they have given themselves the chance. Why should they stop believing they are good. Players and teams that do not think they are good, don't win, it is a big thing called confidence. Now there is a difference from thinking they are good, and thinking they are the best.

I give them a better than average chance this year, but I think if they play their cards right, next year might be their best chance. the offense is pretty much the offense year after year. The defense is where the difference will be made. Looking at the age of players, the Defense should peak next year. the majority of the defense at that point will be 2nd,3rd,4th,5th year with a few veterans mixed in. After that a lot of them will start hitting contract years and won't be able to keep them all.

The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

This goes back to Clay not crediting the Giants or Niners beating us in the playoffs. All the talk of "we're the better team, we lost more than they won" mentality. This team won 1 SB and has lived off it, coasted off it ever since. This is why our HC and GM are vehemently defended...because they did something...ONCE. Brady had multiple rings years before the 33 that Aaron is.

Our team got hot after barely eeking into the playoffs, had some incredible fortune with Cutler going out at Chicago, and then Todd Collins, and barely hung on vs. a 3rd stringer who had never played. I think some people forget how very fortunate this team was to even be in one show. Now, you could argue the Seattle year should've been #2 and I can go there but what happened in Seattle wasn't too dissimilar to what almost happened in Chicago based on it being a 3rd string QB. If this team wins, it's by the very skin of their teeth. A fun great year that ended with our one in only ring this century. There should've been more. Not a one of us wasn't thinking dynasty or at least multiple championships. Now, that it hasn't happened it's almost like everyone has forgotten that and is placated and pacified by winning the division. I don't understand.

If we don't get another one this regime and Rodgers is going to go down more for what they didn't do than what they did.

Sorrowfully they generally find out they aren't that good.
Barring injuries, I have high hopes that this is the year they grab another Lombardi!

When they make the playoffs. Win all the playoff games. Then score more points in the super bowl then the AFC team.😝

1. This is sbout the dumbest thread ever started.
I guess this is what happens when one member takes it upon himself to re-label this section as"Debate " threads.
How about we spend the entire season debating the difference between "debate" and "opinion".

I applaud Cheesey for giving the right answer.

2. I like how some continuously compare The Packers to The Patriots.
Over the last 8 years The Packers have advanced to the playoffs because the play in a weak division.
The Patriots have advanced because of their Superior coaching and play.
Since 2008 EVERY TEAM (yes even The Bears) in the NFC North have made the playoffs 2 or more times.
Since 2008 in That powerhouse AFC East other than The Patriots, The Jets are the only team to make the playoffs, Mark Sanchez was starting at Qb.
The AFC East has been a dumpster fire for the last 8 years, Miami has shown some improvement the last couple of years, The Bills and The Jets have already written off this season.

3. I know this is one of many to come "debate" threads created just to be twisted around so some here can continue to Bash Ted, Mike, and the whole Packet organization.
So be it.
In 2010 per Mike McCarthy, it took 70 guys to win a Super Bowl.
The season starts Sunday.
You all keep "debating".
I am going to sit back and enjoy The next 17 weeks.
Come January I'm betting The Packers once again will have a shot at The Super Bowl.

The Players have been chosen, as always there will be some additions, Some subtraction.
Time to sit back and ENJOY THE GAMES!
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!
