I was off on keeping Hill and the OL as well as having Brown over Pipkins and them IR'ing Adams today to keep Price on my 53. Shame on me.

Ecstatic Aaron Jones is a Packer. That kid was and is my favorite from this entire draft forward experience. Can't wait to see him tear it up, oops, I mean languish on the bench between the pedestrian Jamaal Williams for weeks before getting a chance, but when he does...

Hoping Michael Clark and Taysom make it to the PS with Donatello... Not worried about McCaffrey, Yancey or Dupre, or anyone else they cut.

I wonder if order means anything, because if it does there are some interesting tidbits to take.

Here's what he tweeted. It's kind of unbelievable to me that he wrote a definitive answer at Packers.com and then tweeted this back to me:

Funny. Profootballtalk.com doesn't realize Amichia was a draft choice...

Hard for me to not take a shot at Packers.com as I've hammered the site for years. Just embarrassing the guy (Mike Spofford) is putting out false info. At least, here, a couple of us were careful to not get dogmatic because the answer wasn't readily available. A good learning experience to vet your sources as much as possible before taking them as gospel.

Oh, ESPN has a GREAT poing over in the Headlines box to the right... We kept UDFA OL who are terrible over DRAFTED WR's. Pretty amazing and a break for this regime as it always seems to favor draft status.

I think either Janis or Davis (maybe both) stepped up more than the staff expected them to this offseason. I bet they were planning to replace them but both seem to have had really good camps.

But yeah, I think a number of people were thinking Davis would be a non-factor and cut/released... as he just wasn't getting it mentally... and he says he now is (they all say that, he probably has more room to improve) where he's not thinking as much and can focus on just balling now.

If Janis and Davis both get it...look out...both of them have more athletic ability than any of our Top 3. I've been waiting on Jeff Janis forever and I'd all but given up on him completely. Davis is a true weapon at PR. That is such a vital thing but so is securing the ball. I hope he's turnover free and flipping the field for us all season and seasons to come. We've been lacking this guy for awhile. Just knowing everytime our D actually forces a punt, TD has a chance to score is very very exciting. Very fun having a guy like him on the 53. He can win games for us.
