Bennett is not a jokster; he’s simply insane…LOL. He has a very jovial nature, he’s just a happy guy; but he is one competitive SOB. Bennett also can get quite surly if his sense of justice is crossed. His greatest quality is that if anyone is doing something that he thinks is harming the team he will insert himself, he won’t care if that player is an UDFA or an idolized QB. Though not quite the player Woodson and Reggie were, his impact could rival theirs.
Not signing Cook had nothing to do with getting Bennett; Ted was gonna get Bennett if he could. Bennett cannot be covered by one man when there’s an accurate QB. This automatic 5-7 yards to Marty and fear of Marty’s justifiable wrath will keep Doppleganger away.
