Am curious what the sentiment on Aaron Nagler is around here?
Bob McGinn out and Aaron Nagler in. I know they weren't swapped for each other but the net effect in Packers coverage is Bob is gone and Nagler is in.
Isn't Nagler the co-founder of a Packers themed site that is pretty piss poor? The one with Jersey Al?
Anyone know how or why he was hired? I really don't understand the move. Barfarn could run circles around this guy as well as Michael Rodney and I could do a much better job as well as many other posters on this very site.
I just think he's really lowered the bar for journalism and journalistic integrity. I know this is awful to say but the guy looks like a drunk who is half in the bag all the time. I read up on him and he comes from an acting background and co-founded a Packers website? That is what we're having passed off as reputable media these days?
Never heard or read a single enlightening thing this guy has every written or said. The Michael Hawthorne and Jarrett Bush of media members. Just atrocious.
Whenever I listen to press conferences I'm just dumbfounded by the lack of intelligent questions. Fans of the Packers deserve some intelligence in the coverage of this team and it's nowhere to be found among the old tried and true sources.
Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."
