Previously I've stated that the biggest thing Mike has to work on is developing a functional grasp of sports psychology.

The biggest part of that, is NOT PISSING AWAY YOUR MARGIN OF ERROR. This team has always been stacked with talent. But look back to 2009. Hell, look back to '07. Close Championship game, lost in OT.

'08, we were decimated with injuries. That's part of it too. Win while you can, because you never know when the bottom is gonna drop out. '09, another OT heart breakl! In '10, we completely shit ourselves to the point at which we had to win our last 5 games just to qualify.

We won it all in '10, but then now look at all these OT playoff losses and clutch heart breaks. The one in '14 stands out in particular, because the Lombardi would have, could have and SHOULD have been ours that year.

Then look at the OT loss last year. That shit is just disgusting.

This year, the pattern repeats: PISS AWAY ALL MARGIN OF ERROR, put the team in a position of having to win the last 6 games just to squeak into the damn tournament. This game is just a classic microcosm.

It's not that Mike is "too conservative." It's just that he cannot STAND to have any MARGIN OF ERROR left, whatsoever. All victory has to be a razor thin fucking margin. And as a result, we piss away most of these seasons, more often than not. Just ACCEPT being ahead, Mike. There's no reason to piss that margin away. Get some damn therapy.

When the team chronically underperforms, you get multiple playoff eliminations like that. Allow your team an extra week of rest and HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE. Don't go out of your way to make things as difficult as fucking possible.

We had some mental and performance errors there that once in the game were not Mike's fault. The pass was working and we stuck with it along with timely runs. It was a good gameplan and I'm overjoyed we pulled it out in the end. A lot of clutch happened in this game at the end even by our defense.

I didn't see anything in this game that made me question Mike's coaching. I must have missed something. I know Geronimo messed up and Aaron seemed to miss badly on a should have been touchdown, so it looked like player error.

MM has a 10-7 playoff record. 4 losses in OT. That is a ton of coming up short in crunch time. So glad today wasn't another one of those devastating shoulda woulda couldas.

I do agree the Packers have little concept of burying an opponent. This game should've had last rights issued by half time. Our D makes no game out of reach, though.

All this talent spoken to is not on the defensive side of the ball. Been a recurring issue since SB win.

It should've been easier but that's a road playoff game vs. the team most thought was SB bound.

MM coached a fine game, today. Think he should've run on 3rd down before the half but other than that...Good.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

If Aaron leads Davante towards the sideline on the play that was intercepted, this game was likely over.

For now, I don't want to nitpick this one. For once we can enjoy a nail biting playoff classic.

NOW ... maybe it was Aaron who did NOT check out of the run? I don't know. I just know I didn't like the back to back runs to break the tie at the end of the 4th before the game winner. I wanted them to push the ball down the field more and get more yards and eat more clock. I thought that decision was going to cost us. ... but ...

WE WON BABY AND FUCKING GOING TO ATLANTA!!!!!
