Well, on 3rd and 12, when I saw that ball go up and Adams running 100% WIIIIIIIIIDE open in the middle of the field; I nearly lost my mind, believing that we'd now have to needlessly punt the ball to the Bears w/ a minute left and 2 TOs and them having just accumulated 224 yards on their last 3 drives.
Fox knew Rodgers' tendency to choke in crunch time and he was 100% correct. Rodgers did choke by not hitting Adams for the much more sure 1st down that would just about eliminate a chance for Bears to win in regulation. Thank God Rodgers made a HOF throw, Jordy made a tough catch, the safety couldn't catch up and the wind didn't gust to knock down or carry the ball past Jordy.
Fox made the right decision given all the circumstances. They were in total control of the game at home and when you're faced with that, you dont want to pin all your hopes on one play.
