Jake Schum to Bears coach John Fox "please do call time out to try to freeze the kicker (no pun intended). We will use it as a practice kick to gauge the wind." Thanks Coach Fox for the freebie.

Yeah I don't know why idiot coaches keep thinking that icing the kicker crap works, it's so stupid. I read a while back that even statistically kickers make a 2nd kick when they get "iced" at a higher percentage than 1st kicks get made (I guess they just want to feel like they can assert some kind of control over a situation where they have little). Also thanks John Fox for being gutless and playing for the tie. Give me a shot at a 4 yard play to win the game every time over a FG, holding the opponent from a FG in just under 2 minutes, driving for another FG in OT, THEN holding the other team from a FG/TD.

Division games are tough man. Dallas loses to a resurgent Giants team and Redskins barely scrape by the Eagles. I think the Bears look being scary at this point in the season and I think winning that game really showed our resiliency. Onward!

Fox knew Rodgers' tendency to choke in crunch time and he was 100% correct. Rodgers did choke by not hitting Adams for the much more sure 1st down that would just about eliminate a chance for Bears to win in regulation. Thank God Rodgers made a HOF throw, Jordy made a tough catch, the safety couldn't catch up and the wind didn't gust to knock down or carry the ball past Jordy.

Fox made the right decision given all the circumstances. They were in total control of the game at home and when you're faced with that, you dont want to pin all your hopes on one play.

On top of that your team has 3 wins, Fox had nothing to lose but played it safe anyways. They were way more likely to get 4 yards than they were to stop GB twice AND get another scoring drive.

When you are in any contest you should work as if there were, to the very last minute, a chance to lose it.

- Ha Ha Clinton Dix: He got his bearings right down there, awareness for the routes and the ball gave us two critical picks. Very good game even if he had a lot of problems tackling.

Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : The method for measuring first downs in the NFL will switch from chain gangs to camera-based technology in 2025, the league announced.
