Saying he's better than a guy that 3 teams didn't even think was worth rostering as a back up is not acting like he's a franchise QB.

I’m Salesman #2; the fact that a UDFA D3 Qb was rostered by 2 other teams is an amazing, maybe an unprecedented, compliment to the work Callahan put on film in PS. Everyone knows he ain’t ready, yet 2 other teams used a valuable roster spot believing he’s a better emergency option than Freeman, Jackson Flynn, Vick, Whitehurst, Yates, Lindley, Claussen; etc.

Callahan growth in year #1 is special; if it continues he’ll be special.

Hundley at QB executing the offense like a man, reduced disturbances to morale and lockerroom comraderee, while at the same time picking up valuable picks and saving about 55Million over the next 3 years.

Russell Wilson [when they won] and Dak Prescott are not "franchise QBs." They just did/do their job without all the kiddy crap drama. That is what Hundley will bring in 2017.

It is nonsense to read negativity into Callahan’s little road trip.

Saints had no QBs on injury report, cut an OT, and signed Callahan for one week…ONE WEEK! How many snaps and coaching time do you think Callahan got? [Answer=ZERO and a little]. Saints had 6 hours of practice to get Brees and McCown ready. It is absurd to think that they signed a D3 UDFA rookie, who had to learn a completely new offense and terminology, who got little to no 1 on 1 coaching and they cut him because he didn’t show enough…ABSURD.

When Browns claimed Callahan, they had 3 QBs on roster with injuries to top 2 [Kessler (Concussion) and McCown (Shoulder)]. #3 was Hogan, who was a Chiefs’ 5th round pick in 2016, and Browns pilfered him keeping him as #4 QB on roster behind [RG3, McCown, Kessler, who was a Browns 3rd rnd pick and started 8 games)]. Callahan was there for 5 weeks and was cut because Browns got RG3 back from IR-DTR. In weeks 2-5, Callahan was QB#4 as all QBs were healthy.

Now with McCown, #2 pick RG3, 3rd and 5th rounders Kessler and Hogan, which is a plethora of young talent, why did Callahan last 5 weeks as #4 QB on Browns’ roster? Answer: THEY WERE IMPRESSED; but ultimately, they were unwilling to keep 5 QBs on roster. The Browns stink and could grab any player from anyone's P-squad, and Callahan was more attractive than any of those 310 options.

There is NOTHING Callahan had an opportunity to do in NO and CLEV that would nullify his tape.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
Zero2Cool (23-Jun) : PFT claims Packers are having extension talks with Zach Tom, Quay Walker.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
