Don't know if this is true, but I heard on one of these podcasts that there was a documentary on the al Jazeera story about steroid use by pro athletes. In that documentary, the journalist asked the source on camera what pro athlete was the "worst" steroid user. The source said, "Mike Neal."
I thought that was significant if true, because Neal isn't a big star, so there wouldn't seem to be some sort of motivation to create headlines by accusing him like that. In fact, most sports (and even football) fans probably don't even know who he is, unless they're fans of our team specifically.
Recall his 2nd year he was suspended for a positive urine test. He blamed it on Adderall at the time.
