I guess if we don't win the super bowl every year, then we suck.
To have the goal/desire to win it all is great, but not realistic.
All 32 teams have the same goal, only ONE gets there.
Again, I have heard over and over how GREAT the Patriots are compared to the Packers. Yet they will be watching on TV as well.
I'm just as disapointed as anyone that we didn't win the SB this year. But I don't understand why some even watch the games if they are going to "hate" the team if they don't get the ultimate goal every year.
You think that that doesn't bother the coaches and the players as well?
I myself will be cheering on "my"team next year, as I have since 1965.
And I will HOPE that everything falls into place and they win it all.
I think Ted Thompson needs to do more to get the players necessary to take the next step. Get some veteran leadership. That's where the fault lies, in my view.
I think it's kind of funny how some guys wait a year or two, then blast Ted Thompson for making "the wrong choices" on players. Hind sight makes it VERY easy to seem superior in that respect.
AJ Hawk wasn't a GREAT player, but he didn't SUCK, either. He was average, in my view. What hurt him most was that he was a high draft choice. Had he been a 6th rounder, everyone would be saying what a steal he was.
