I don't know why people have to beat down people like Cait/Bruce Jenner. It's a pathetic thing to do, and there is absolutely no humor in it.

Of course it's mean, so's condemning a gay person to hell cause you interpret bible verse a certain way, so's treating people of color as underlings, so's being a misogynistic asshole. Lot's of things are mean, Uffda. Go review the Back Alley threads - and you'll find out where some of these clowns you converse with daily stand on "issues" of today.

Mean....like judging people because they believe God's word and what He says on certain subjects, then sitting on their own high throne like THEY are better then those THEY judge. In other words, being hypocrites themselves , thinking they have the right to be the judge.

Yeah...you take offense to things that have nothing to do with you. While you attack my religious beliefs,
I do understand though....no one likes their choices to be called what they are.
Guess choice is only given to liberals.

Hmmm...a woofmaker gif sparked a debate such as this.

I have to admit that I found this funny. Very funny. Funnier than I should've. I know that isn't popular but it's the truth. I saw it on twitter and I was pondering how I could make one that wouldn't be hurtful. My wife thought the woofmaker was just downright mean. I think she had tears in her eyes thinking how people can be so cruel. That's something I completely understand and feel, however, I found it creative and set out to find a subject who wasn't born that way so it wouldn't be cruel. Bruce Jenner came to mind as a very polarizing figure who chose to look as he does now. Thought it was wrong to use anyone's God given appearance to mockery. Choosing to look like a woman after being a man for 60 years I thought was game that was fair considering it was a choice. So, I didn't choose Jenner to make fun of him/her rather to not make fun of anyone's God given physical appearance because I do think that's cruel.

I've noticed some movies that were made as little as 10 or 12 years ago where homosexuality is a major stigma. It's amazing how far the leftists have dragged the country down to where that crap is now totally acceptable to the solid majority of people who in many cases have decent normal views on a lot of other things.

I'll go with "mean" in the original question, but with the stipulation that Jenner, even more than homosexuals in general, is deserving of any ridicule or stigma attached to his sick and disgusting choice because, after all, it was his choice. The popular idea that the libs have inflicted on America is that homosexuality is NOT a choice - they are born that way; I don't buy that; I say it IS a choice, and thus, the chooser should reap the fruits (no pun intended) of his choices. Even if the libs are correct that homosexuals are born predisposed to be that way, it is clearly a CHOICE to overcome that predisposition or to go with it. There used to be a term "latent homosexual" back in the day - meaning somebody who was or seemingly was wired to be a homosexual, but chose not to partake of the abomination.

Just the same, the prevailing rule should be: HATE THE SIN, NOT THE SINNER. It's wrong to hate Jenner and others who do the abomination of homosexuality. This is America; They have the Freedom to do that abomination; However, Normal People also have Freedom, including the Freedom to ridicule - either good-naturedly or mean-spiritedly. The REAL Evil is the damned Political Correctness crap inflicted on people - including those who either for fun or meanness, take your pick, ridicule the poor misguided loons like Jenner who practice various abominations.

Are we having fun yet? It's been a while since there's been any good back and forth on topics like this.
Expressing the Good Normal Views of Good Normal Americans.

The funny thing is that the good normal Americans that Texas talks about all the time never have to take shit for anything. But when they called on the carpet for their mean spirited and bullying ways - they whine like little girls. It's a damn embarrassment to know so many people like that.

Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
    Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
    Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move
dfosterf (15-Apr) : My wife just told the ancient Japanese sushi dude not enough rice under his fish
    Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
    Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
    wpr (9-Apr) : yay
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy says Steelers likely to protect Packers game. Meaning, no Ireland
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Struggling to figure out what text editor options are needed and which are 'nice to have'
Mucky Tundra (8-Apr) : *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP*
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
    Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
