What happened to this place? It took me 2 minutes to catch up after being gone for 3 months.

And our D Line ....... I just don't see excellence there - which there pretty much ain't - as being all that important to success. I envision our offense as being so high powered that possible inability to stop the run becomes a lot less of a factor as teams are forced to take chances and play catch up.

No, you're much more intelligent than Texas. We really won't have a clue about our defense until the season starts. The secondary scares the hell out of me, and how the team works through the inevitable injuries that occur. I still have no faith in Raji, I like Daniels, and D. Jones has proven anything yet..

I don't think the D-Line will excel but I do think they will be solid. The linebacking is already looking better than last year, but I will reserve judgement until I see some preseason games. I am not worried about the secondary. Even with guys out or playing hurt they looked better as the season went on, particularly Dix. Safety has become an increasingly critical position in the NFL and we have two good ones with some solid backups. Corcers are good enough.

I also believ that the offense will control games most of the time, making the D look even better. The question is whether the D can steal a game or two if the offense isn't enough, and I think they can.
