Packers special teams coach Ron Zook will give some others a chance to field punts and kickoffs during training camp, but based on early returns that won’t be anything more than a formality.

Also I liked Janis returning kick offs in the last two preseason games and with the way the Packers struggled with it during the season, I was a surprised and maybe a bit shocked they didn't give Janis a shot at it, especially since when Lacy went down and couldn't finish a game they had Kuhn rotating with Starks as the 3rd RB and not Harris.

Also hopefully someone will step up at the depth at TE, Henry sounds interesting but after Rodgers and Quarless there is a big drop off at TE.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Monty was drafted be a good overall player just like all the other draft picks. Fans just latched onto the idea that the Packers didn't need another WR so it must of been some other reason they grabbed him and the returner idea was the only thing that seemed to make sense at the time, but from the sounds of it Monty could be a very quick study and could get playing time very early in his career.
