The man every Packers fan pretends to be this time of year has no problem with all the NFL draft pressure falling squarely on his shoulders. It’s part of the job as the general manager. On Wednesday, Ted Thompson held his annual pre-draft news conference.

One of my lifelong buddies and I think Ted Thompson has some strings or some guy is sitting in the back pressing a button to play a recording everytime he's asked a question. That "leader" bereft of passion in a game of passion ain't the guy we need running this franchise who has only a few more years of being special...a media darling. It could be Cleveland for us for a long long time and we're just gonna waste it with this guy's "steady" leadership.

Rex Ryan is the "media darling" you are looking for. He on his second job and still no super bowl appearances.

I feel you may just be a classic example of "the grass is always greener" type of fan.

If we had Jim Harbaugh here even with Ted Thompson I would've been tickled.

Yes, BB is bland. I've also seen a totally different side of the guy. He loves Bon Jovi. He has a personality.

I think he could be a little more active in free agency, but I mostly understand why he makes the choices he does. Packers fans will be glad if and when the Packers get two additional 4th round compensatory picks next year. It's all a matter of opinion. If I was Bill Belichick or Ted Thompson, I would be the same way.

One thing I'm certain about is they couldn't care less about appeasing whiny fans like yourself. They're busy running successful NFL franchises and being millionaires.

buckeyepackfan (20h) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (20h) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
