Ted Thompson talks about draft pressure, needs, hits and misses

The man every Packers fan pretends to be this time of year has no problem with all the NFL draft pressure falling squarely on his shoulders. It’s part of the job as the general manager. On Wednesday, Ted Thompson held his annual pre-draft news conference.

At cornerback — where he lost Tramon Williams and Davon House in free agency — he feels "OK." Hope this is Uncle Ted just being coy about his direction in the draft...

One of my lifelong buddies and I think Ted Thompson has some strings or some guy is sitting in the back pressing a button to play a recording everytime he's asked a question. That "leader" bereft of passion in a game of passion ain't the guy we need running this franchise who has only a few more years of being special...a media darling. It could be Cleveland for us for a long long time and we're just gonna waste it with this guy's "steady" leadership.

No, sir...I was THRILLED when Harlan. Wolf and Holmgren was the power trio. Murphy, Thompson, Mike McCarthy is not even close.

If we had Jim Harbaugh here even with Ted Thompson I would've been tickled.

Yes, BB is bland. I've also seen a totally different side of the guy. He loves Bon Jovi. He has a personality.
