Here-in lies the problem. If he doesn't trade is it because he didn't want to or because he couldn't find anyone to pay his price? As fans, we'll probably never know and any seemingly unworthy player picked will be labeled a reach for his entire career.

I was playing around on first-pick.com, wanting to see what it would take to get Leonard Williams.

Cost to trade up from #30 to #5 was:
4th #30
6th #30
7th #30
Next year's first rounder.

Not saying this trade would be available (my guess is the above wouldn't be near enough to trade that high). But if it was, would you make it.

FWIW, in the game I followed the pick by trading down from the Packers 2nd round pick #30 multiple times to get a total of one extra late third and three picks spread across the fourth round.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Is it just me, or do the Packers seem not to be worried about building a Defense to be FEARED ? I know that they are in a giant poker game and the winners get the best players. I just want the Packers to win .

I dont believe the Packers will ever be a truly balanced team while Aaron is hitting his prime.

Bend , but don't break is not a Defense , it is a surrender . For some teams , putting constant pressure on their QB is the only way to stop them . An ILB has to stop the run and cover against the pass . The Corner Back needs to be fast , smart , and be of sufficient height to to be of use against the taller faster receivers that many teams are recruiting . :magnifygl

I say wait to see who is dropping. If what he is looking for is still there later, why give up picks to move up? But if someone outstanding is dropping then it's worth it. It will all kind of depend on whether there is a run on a certain position and who that leaves out there.

If Shelton drops into the teens, I say go get him, but if they are thinking ILB there are a couple to be available when we draft.

Well the void at NT seems to be filled. Therefor the Packers would logically be looking at CB's and ILB's . Ted Thompson will be throwing out smoke screens and not promoting players that he likes . Therefor if Packers.com profiles a player , it is a Ted Thompson smoke screen .

Mucky Tundra (3-Jun) : @ByRyanWood How much did the injury affect him last fall? “A lot.”
Mucky Tundra (3-Jun) : @ByRyanWood Kenny Clark said he had foot surgery in January. Injured his foot in opener against Eagles and played through it all year.
Zero2Cool (3-Jun) : Golden is wearing guardian cap again. I bet he plays with it on too.
Mucky Tundra (3-Jun) : All the stuff I'm reading from Lions fans are pointing at his toe; he more or less has permanent turf toe in one of his big toes
dfosterf (3-Jun) : Kenny played through it, and a shame he gets little credit for that, imo
dfosterf (3-Jun) : Big men. I hope it's not the undoing of Kenny Clark
dfosterf (3-Jun) : Probably his toe. Pretty much a great center. Toe injuries are brutal to bigen

Mucky Tundra (28-May) : I haven't watched the pregame shows in years and I don't feel like I've missed a thing
Zero2Cool (28-May) : Love says knee affected him all season, groin injury didn't help matters.
Zero2Cool (28-May) : I used to enjoy him on FOX Pregame. Now it's like a frat party of former Patriots.
Zero2Cool (28-May) : LaFleur on Watson: “Christian is doing outstanding. I would say he’s ahead of schedule.”
Martha Careful (28-May) : Bradshaw is a dumb ass cracker. I am so tired of his "aw shucks" diatribe. He should shrivel up and go away.
buckeyepackfan (28-May) : He wad all butt hurt because Aaron duped the media saying he was immunized.
buckeyepackfan (28-May) : Bradshaw needs to retire. He's been ripping on Rodgers ever since the covid crap. He was all hury
Zero2Cool (28-May) : Terry Bradshaw doesn't want Rodgers in Pittsburgh lol wow
Zero2Cool (27-May) : one day contract, which he also feels is pointless, but if Packers came to him, he would
