You do realize Cobb is the #1 rated wr free agent right? So why not give him the same money as Nelson seeing he is younger. Adams was a hit or moss last year and don't forget he was going against #3 and 4 cbs not a #2. So your willing to put all your money on a 2nd year guy because the defense will take away Nelson. We don't have a wr we can move around to work mismatches like we did with Cobb.

What? How was Adams only going against #3 and 4 CBs? He was usually lined up outside where the other teams put their #2. Also a lot of teams don't have their CBs follow particular players so he was facing the other teams best CB often as well. He faced good CBs plenty.

Rumor has it that the Texans told Andre Johnson that he can seek a trade and if they don't find one they are going to release him. If Packers don't re-sign cobb how would you feel if they signed Johnson.

I have seen similar stuff but nothing to the level you have been embellishing it as outside of maybe 1 person.

I actually just brought that up in another thread, he would be a 2 year rental to help teach our young guys and then also go after Julius Thomas for TE, I think we could get Thomas for around 7 million a year and I bet we could get Johnson for like 3 or 4 million. So 11 million and you sure up 2 spots. I think Johnson would come cheaper for a chance to get the ring, remember Andre Rison and Keith Jackson in 96 for our 1st title in a long time. It was just a thought :)
