BB adds a sense of comfort that (if healthy) that we now have 7 guys I'd trust along the line. However, as we've discussed in other threads, IMO it's a bit much for him.
Signing Cobb and Bulaga solidifies an offense that is at the top of the league for the next few years. This in league where turnover runs crazy. How much is that worth? All these guys will be back and they will be back the next year too and we are talking about an offense that is REALLY GOOD.
This also gives Ted Thompson a time cushion to draft and develop adding quality depth and preparing for replacing guys down the road when that does again become necessary. For now this offense is sitting real pretty and will be for awhile.
The way I look at it is this is bad news for the other guys. Not us.
