Some more gettable, but still unrealistic, FAs I'd like.
Shane Vereen
We tried to get a guy who has some speed and get some catches in the draft for a while. Franklin and Alexander both didn't pan out, though. Vereen would be a great complimentary back to Lacy. It's just that the RB position would become a bit crowded.
Stephen Paea
He turned into quite the pass rusher at 300 lbs this season. He'd be great as a DE in our system and we could get him into the field in our two down linemen nickel packages. Again, though, the 3-4DE position might become a bit crowded.
Rey Maualuga
You don't get a lot of flash, but you do get a lot of production. Thing is, I don't know if this is truly the type of linebacker we're looking for.
Jason Worilds
Gets a sack or 7 a year, but when you watch him play, you see he's better than that. He can get some pressure on the QB. He doesn't really cover well or anything, but he can get into the opponent's backfield. With Peppers still on the roster, Matthews a starter and Perry behind them, this would, again, make for a rather crowded position.
