all that porforis said...and it was an evolution. I can't recall the specific play, but mid 3rd quarter he rolled right with no gimp. To that point he hardly moved ANYWHERE in the pocket, but from that point he stepped up more, rolled more, and I think developed the confidence that he can at least move behind the LOS. I still don't expect to see a lot of scrambling next week, but he can at least work to avoid a rush, as is one of his big assets.

One things for sure, we are going to have to play a hell of a lot better next week if we want any kind of shot. I'd like us to go back to the way we used to play with the short fast routes and quick passes like we used to with Driver and Jennings.

It is going to take everything this team has for a win in Seattle and I think they will gut it out and win it. Like Rodgers said, this team is more hungry.

Here's what happened:

Rodgers was not quite as bad off as he let on; The hope was to sand bag Seattle a little bit - I think they maybe hoped to save the Cobb out of the backfield stuff for Seattle too. However, things got a little bit tight, so they opened things up - to some extent anyway.

Anyway, it's all good - why all the negative stuff?

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
