The problem with continuously shitting yourself as this team has continued to do for a decade now, is that you subsequently put yourself into a hole, and have increased pressure on you to get out of it.

Then, because you are in pressure situations, you're much more likely to shit yourselves again.

Imagine that Mike an Aaron weren't gutless cowards in week 1, and/or actually had this team ready to play early in the season. We'd have beaten the Seahawks and have home field advantage. The Panthers were much easier to beat than the Gurlz. Even without the self shitting.

But it sets you up for a self defeating spiral of repeated self shitting. As Lombardi says, winning is a habit. So is losing.

Btw, when the team gets way down, I'm the first one to say IT'S NOT OVER. I'm just telling it like it is.

Aaron needs to cut it loose for the whole game next week. None of this stiff bullshit for 3 quarters. He was moving fine in the 4th.

One things for sure, we are going to have to play a hell of a lot better next week if we want any kind of shot. I'd like us to go back to the way we used to play with the short fast routes and quick passes like we used to with Driver and Jennings.

That said, the Seahawks are overrated, and they're going to be overconfident after we self shit against them in week 1. They probably think they're the better team.

Ripe for the picking.

Also keep in mind that the way they used Cobb was huge in keeping the Cowboys off-balance and the O line did a great job stepping up and giving Rodgers better protection in the second half.
