Yes, it's true many do grill year round. However some are not as fortunate as you, do to their location, or community rules, or any number of reasons. My point was to welcome Spring and celebrate life.

I for one would like to read just how you prepare some of your specialties. I especially love Pork Fried Rice. [thumbup]

Here is the basic recipe I use for Fried Rice. Fried Rice

I use the ingredients but don't follow the measurements. I am go pretty heavy on the Soy, and Garlic.

My Vegetable Beef is complete from scratch. Start with Beef soup bones seasoned as you like (paprika and garlic salt is what I use). Brown in a stock pot. Add water (6-8 cups), carrots, onion, Celery, green beans and let it simmer for a couple hours.

Remove soup bones and cool. Remove meat from the bones and return to the pot. Add chopped Potatoes and Chopped fresh tomatoes. return to simmer for about 20 minute until potatoes are softened.

Remove from heat and let cool. I usually chill in the fridge overnight to let the fat rise and skim it off. Then heat and serve when hungry.

Most of us love chicken. I love to marinate chicken many hours before I grill it . Italian Salad dressing and a large Zip-Lock bag works very well . I place the washed chicken in the bag with the dressing , seal , rotate and coat, then refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours before grilling . A Bar-B-Que sauce is optional with this marinate method. I like a vinegar based sauce myself.

Cornbread muffins, butter, country baked beans, fresh cole slaw, melon cubes, cold beer . Makes a great feast .

Had a T-bone. Had to broil it because it was too windy to grill tonight.

My point is not to know what you just had for your dinner, but what/how do you make that special crowd pleasing Casserole, or Cheese Dip, or Macaroni Salad . Exposing a new alternative to Ketchup on those fries (like chili or beef gravy). Discovering different ways to fix up a Hot Dog (I like sauerkraut on mine).

Anyone know a great chili recipe ? [biggrin]
