That's exactly right.

Aaron Rodgers prone to mistakes and mental errors? WHERE does that come from? He is as much the direct opposite of that as any QB in recent history. As for yelling at players, was there any instance other than the Linsley thing - which was the proper thing to do at the time. Linsley played a generally good game, but he screwed up on that play.

I have no problem with Rodgers "yelling" at teammates. I guarantee the coaches say much worse on the sidelines. However Aaron definitely did not play well enough to warrant embarrassing a rookie on national television. Aaron looked out of sorts and hopefully it was just first game jitters, new O line players, the raucous Seattle environment, and the seattle defense itself.

If he DIDN'T yell we'd be hearing the same comments about Aaron Rodgers that we hear about M.M. lacking intensity and passion.

This is a complete non-story and non-issue.

If Rodgers yelling at his teammates upsets you, then you should probably turn in your man card, stop watching football, and join the Girl Scouts.

I'm saying, if you're going to yell at someone, you should probably make sure you got your bases covered first. It's somewhat like a parent yelling at their kid for smoking while they themselves are smoking. I disagree with that type of "leadership". And because some joker will be obtuse and ignore the point, lets be clear, parenting and quarterbacking are not one in the same. It was just a loose analogy. [grin1]

A complete non-issue. If Aaron wasn't upset with a delay of game penalty/wasted timeout, then I'd be concerned.

In truth though, I think Linsley got the snap off, and if Rodgers would have waited it out, he wouldn't have to burn anything. No one seemed sharp or on point last night, and that goes for Rodgers too.

First game of the season, in a legit hostile environment, with the best team in football receiving their rings. We had like a 20% chance of winning that game. I'm certainly not upset that Rodgers got a little fired up over mistakes though.

Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (30-Jan) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.

Zero2Cool (25-Jan) : Any reason I'm catching a shot here about my intelligence?
Martha Careful (25-Jan) : thank you Mucky for sticking up for me
Martha Careful (25-Jan) : some of those people are smarter than you zero. However Pete Carroll is not
Mucky Tundra (24-Jan) : Rude!
beast (24-Jan) : Martha? 😋
Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
