Bayless must have been DROOLING for the chance to slam Rodgers. Isn't this the same guy that said Tebow was the better quarterback last season? This guy has consistently taken issue with Rodgers. I'm willing to accept that Brady might be a better leader simply because he has been doing it longer and has won multiple championships. But P. Manning and Brees? No. I'm almost completely confident I have seen Manning and Brady jump on players multiple times. Perhaps Manning might have a slight edge on Rodgers but that's mostly because he has been doing it longer and has naturally enjoyed a greater amount of volume of success as a result. After Brady, it's a wash. Moreover, it's impossible to compare players at such different points in their career.

Did Bayless really go on and slam Rodgers for his commercials? Has he not seen how many commercials Manning is doing right now? That guy is a complete idiot who really only says things to stir the pot in an attempt to get ratings. His "evidence" is completely laughable. Really Bayless, you think Rodgers will become a bigger Diva than Favre EVER was? And what exactly leads you to that conclusion? What a completely joke. All players get mad at times, as we all know via the infamous Manning/offensive line 'fight' several years ago. It means nothing as long as the players move forward. I hope the media enjoys the ratings it receives from this non-story, because that's exactly what it is: a non-story. Perhaps if it was another observation in a trend, but at this point, it means little to me.

I thought the slam on Aaron Rodgers for the commericals being played again from last year was hilarious. Because, you know, Aaron Rodgers dictates how often and when the commercial airs. Thus, he's full of himself because of the commercial airing this year, that also aired last year!

For the record, the Vikings didn't lose against the Saints in the '09 CG because of that Favre interception. It was because Favre did the Sears commercial. [sarcasm]

Wow. Bayliss is a complete idiot. I don't think you can find that many people who are both knowledgeable about football and intelligent who don't at least put 🇦🇷 in the top 3 QBs of today. I'd rank him as #1. Easily. And that's despite several QBs who will be first round Hall of Famers currently playing (Brady, P. Manning, and Brees).

Skippy is a tool's tool. I have never liked one single thing he has said. He wants to the a shock jock only he is a joke.
He was a joke when he was at the Chicago Trib. He has never changed. I don't care for most Chicago teams and he disgusted me with his stories. Circulation increased the day he left. [sarcasm]

Skip Bayless is a tool.. he goes against the grain for the shock value to stay relevant. It is overtly apparent in just about every discussion, from a marketing perspective it is brilliant. Either that or I give him too much credit and he is just plain ignorant. Either way, for the common fan of sports.. he is a tool.

Back to topic.. Jones understands the game, Rodgers earned his keep long before he won a Superbowl. He earned it in how he developed and how he handled the exit of the last starter. From there he has just cemented it by staying grounded and continuing to grind it.

And that has nothing to do with him being the QB.. it has everything to do with him as a person and teammate.

I would still like to see someone go off on Rodgers though.. the next time he leads a WR into a hit. Just to drive home that QB's are just another guy upon the roster. lol.

QB's are difficult to get angry with though because they are so excellent by nature. You got hit? Well, you probably ran the route wrong. Deal with it. You had to extend your arms to make the catch? Well, you probably didn't get enough separation on the defender for the QB to have a larger throwing window. Deal with it.

beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
