In some ways being on IR might be worse in players minds... means your season is done (if you stay on IR), means you're injured and means you might have to work towards an injury settlement if they don't want to keep you on IR for the whole season.

Like I noticed today the RB Neal, ILB Thomas and OL Tiller were sent to IR during the 75 man cut downs... but on Packers.com I don't see them listed on the IR on the updated roster...

Maybe a mistake on Packers.com's part? Or maybe they got injury settlements and released like TE Lyerla?

In Stoneburners case, sounded like he really enjoyed being in Green Bay, could be Ted offered the IR scenario to him and his agent and they decided to take it.

IDK, just seemed strange the tweets that were going out this afternoon.

This post could've been made for the last 3 seasons minus the Barrington part as he hasn't been here that long.

When your D is weak up the middle for 3 straight seasons and isn't fixed, even a little, that is very poor leadership from the top.

Mike McCarthy said we're about winning championships and that is always the goal... How can we believe that when our same glaring weakness is present again? My goodness how many more years is it going to be like this?

From JSOnline.com:

According to source, Stoneburner was waived injured, which means he is in the process of reaching an injury settlement with the team.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Brad jones has only been a MLB for 2 years, and is underrated, the guy can pressure up the middle and make strong tackles. Hawk is a dependable vet that won't make many mistakes, Lattimore has flashed and can come in and play. I can see Hawk leaving next season. The thing that this group lacks is coverage skills that top tier ILBs have.

It's not the greatest, but it's serviceable for now. I'm pretty certain next year they'll draft a ILB high either if these guys struggle or not.

I'll say this, I'm not as worried about this position as am of others because we have 4 guys that can play.

I sam overall happy about how it shook out, and I am not too concerned about the debate on the 50-53rd guys on the roster. They won't be active much, anyway.

Maybe someone who watched more of it can tell me...who will be the starting KR and PR this year and do we have any ST standouts? Banjo was pretty good at that.

Imo that's what It will probably look like. They may just go Janis fulltime at both positions because Harris will be more featured in the offense.

I don't think Harris will. I think they've worked on Lacy's receiving skills so he can stay in on more 3rd downs, and I think Starks gets the bulk of the rest of the carries.

dfosterf (20-Feb) : Hasn"t Bosa missed more games than he has played in the last 3 years?
Mucky Tundra (19-Feb) : He hasn't been too bad when healthy but I don't feel like I ever heard much about when he is
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : Felt like he was more interested in his body, than football. He flashed more than I expected
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : When he was coming out, I thought he'd be flash in pan.
Mucky Tundra (19-Feb) : Joey seems so forgettable compared to his brother for some reason
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : NFL informed teams today that the 2025 salary cap will be roughly $277.5M-$281.5M
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : Los Angeles Chargers are likely to release DE Joey Bosa this off-season as a cap casualty, per league source.
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : If the exploit is not fixed, we'll see tons of "50 top free agents, 50 perfect NFL team fits: We picked where each should sign in March" lo
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Issue should be solved, database cleaned and held strong working / meeting. Boom!
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : It should be halted now.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : usually spambots are trying to get traffic to shady websites filled with spyware; the two links being spammed were to the Packers website
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : you know when you put it that way combined with the links it was spamming (to the official Packers website)
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yep. You can do that with holding down ENTER on a command in Console of browser
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : even with the rapid fire posts?
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : I'm not certain it's a bot.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : I've got to go to work soon which is a pity because I'm enthralled by this battle between the bot and Zero
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yeah, I see what that did. Kind of funny.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : now it's a link to Wes Hodkiezwicz mailbag
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : Now they're back with another topic
