Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

So, nope, it is not a BIG DEAL, but I just don't understand why anyone wouldn't use it. It makes things so much easier and consistent. and if you're going to link an article and its on that page ... then someone has to remove the duplicate thread. it just creates more work for everyone so for me someone who is all about efficiency ... it just kind of boggles my mind that is all. if i seem to make a big deal out of it, i apologize sincerely because on terms of big deal ... it is not. again, it is just really inefficient to ignore a great feature of the site for no purpose.

I hate to spend much time agreeing with Texas, but he's right. Hehehehe.

I read this as Mike saying, "we're not going to rule them out completely, if we need them, we want the option to bring them back if healthy"

What happens if a couple of guys get injured in training camp?

What happens if midway through camp, these young guys don't show the improvements that are expected of them?

I think it's a good idea to have Pickett and Jolly as 2 guys to fall back on if needed.

As much as I like the draft and develop system, sometimes a proven vet, even if he isn't what he used to be, can be an asset to a team.

Finley is a different story, I've stated before, I am in the camp that thinks The Packers will never clear him to play.

I would like having Jolly back simply because he brings some mental toughness and the defense seemed to draw energy off his play.

Edit: I have to say that I love watching Z2Cs never ending struggle to get Uffda to use the news section and the create a discussion function😆

I would feel better going into the season with him on the team given his experience. The theme seems to be lighter and faster this year - but it is good to have a few big guys for certain situations where you need some beef.
