In other words, this team only showed up for 30 minutes, but it was good enough to win.

Nothing new about THAT. And under the circumstances, I'll take it.

It is great that someone stood up and got the team fired up. I look forward to the day when they can play hard and inspired without the need of a speech. They are grown men and professionals. If it takes an emotional speech to get them to play harder something is wrong.

Last week it was the fans booing that stirred the players. They have the ability already just do it on a consistent basis.

I think you have to be pleased that it was the second 30 minutes rather than the first 30. If both result in a win I'd rather finish strong after a crappy start than fall apart after a strong start.
